  I purchased a gift for my husband for the upcoming holidays and placed it on layaway. I called the store to make sure if I could make the payments online (they don't make payments over the phone) I live in Winter Haven and its a bit of a drive into town. After calling several times to reach merchandise pick up, with no luck I gave up and tried calling different departments, I was placed on hold every time for long periods of time 15+ min and every associate I spoke to over the phone had no clue how to look up my account. When I asked if I could just make payments online, no one had a clue. I finally gave up went online to make an account and found a way to make payments. After I made the final payment I tried calling the store to see if my package was ready for pickup and it was the most impossible task simply getting someone to answer. Once an associate finally answered the phone, she placed me on hold yet again so that she could find someone to help me. I was placed on hold for 15+ min again and she eventually hung up on me. I'm an avid Sears shopper, but this location gives the company a terrible perception. Never again!
